A popular hotel group has identified potential cost savings exceeding £150,000, alongside a reduction of 124 tonnes of CO2e, thanks to thorough TM44 inspections carried out by building compliance and energy assessment experts, Green Zone Surveys.
Clover Technical Services, a trusted provider of technical services, was contracted by the hotel group to ensure compliance and efficiency of their air conditioning systems. To achieve this, Clover Technical Services enlisted the expertise of Green Zone Surveys to carry out comprehensive TM44 inspections across 33 hotel locations throughout the UK.
This project involved conducting visual inspections of the AC units and central air handling systems, ensuring F-Gas compliant leak checks were taking place, maintenance was at an acceptable standard and looking for efficiency gains.
The assessors at Green Zone Surveys made sure that the air conditioning systems were in a good working order and assessed the control strategies and system efficiencies.
