Firms seeking to benefit from the latest stage of a Government scheme designed to drive down costs and reduce carbon emissions can get ahead of the game thanks to a forward-thinking energy audit specialist.
The fourth phase of the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) is on the horizon — with the deadline for Action Plan submissions set for December 5.

“The deadline for the fourth phase is December 2027 — it might seem like a long way off but our advice is to prepare well in advance.”

“If, in the past, ESOS was seen by some as little more than a box ticking exercise then that’s changed,” adds Ben.
“One previous route to compliance, Display Energy Certificates (DECs), is no longer an option.
“Those companies that used this route — and which don’t have ISO 50001 that covers 95 per cent of their business — will have to use energy audits for future ESOS compliance.
“I’d really encourage those companies to talk to us now and avoid the cliff edge of the December 5 deadline.”
