We're hiring! Join us as a Business Development Manager

We are offering a unique position as a Business Development Manager, and you'll be an integral part of a passionate Sales Team.

 

As a Business Development Manager, you will play an integral role as the frontline contact for new and existing clients, cultivating their interest in our services and nurturing the relationship throughout the sales cycle. We provide comprehensive technical training to enhance your industry knowledge and expertise, offering exceptional opportunities for career progression within our thriving organisation.

As we offer a multi service proposition, you will have the ability to cross-sell additional services to our valued customers. Working closely with our Sales Director, you will be supporting with client engagement, often visiting them face to face, with the objective of growing our portfolio and converting quoted opportunities. What's more, we offer a lucrative bonus scheme, where achieving up to 100% of your salary is within reach. 

 

The main aspects of this role are:

 

  • Conducting market research, and analysing market data, to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitors. 

  • Developing and implementing strategies to generate leads. 

  • Utilising various channels, including online platforms, networking events, and industry conferences, to identify and engage with potential clients. 

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and acting as the main point of contact for client enquiries, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. 

  • Understanding clients' needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions, conducting consultative selling, and guiding clients through the benefits of our services and how they can meet specific business requirements. 

  • Developing, customising and delivering compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition of Green Zone Surveys and addressing the unique needs and concerns of each client. 

  • Collaborating with our Operations and Technical Teams to create detailed and accurate proposals that are aligned with clients' requirements and provide a clear understanding of the services offered. 

  • Negotiating terms and pricing with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements and work towards closing deals and securing contracts with a focus on achieving sales targets. 

  • Maintaining a well-organized sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and client interactions and regularly updating CRM systems to provide accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts. 

  • Staying informed about Industry Regulations and keeping up to date on relevant industry regulations and standards. 

  • Gathering feedback from clients and using it to improve service offerings, by providing insights and suggestions for product or service enhancements.

  • Collaborating with the Marketing Team to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns. 

 

As a Business Development Manager, you will have a strong B2B sales background and account management experience with an ability to cross-sell. You will have strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, and to prioritise workload while communicating clearly and openly with your manager. You will have strong face to face client engagement skills. You’ll be commercially focused and able to prioritise effectively to drive revenue and achieve targets. You will have strong IT and Communication skills, and strong attention to detail and the ability to digest information in a dynamic environment.

This is a full-time position, offering a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8:30 to 5:00 PM. We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance for our team members, allowing you to enjoy your personal time and recharge outside of office hours. In addition to a good work-life balance, we offer competitive compensation packages. For the Business Development Manager position, we are offering a starting salary of £30,000 per year. In addition to the base salary, we have a highly rewarding performance-based commission structure that offers an achievable On-Target Earnings (OTE) of £50,000.
