Green Zone Surveys demonstrated exceptional expertise in successfully carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments at 20 sites across the UK for valued client, Cox Automotive, in 2024. This marked the third year of providing a fully compliant service for the client, with assessments carried out annually.
With a strong commitment to safety and compliance, the assessor meticulously evaluated each location, ensuring that all necessary measures were in place to protect the health and well-being of employees and visitors.
While most of the sites have been identified as relatively low-risk due to the ongoing control scheme in place, there’s always room to maintain and improve. Necessary remedial actions such as removing dead legs and adjusting water temperatures can be taken to ensure this low-risk status is maintained.

Legionella is a bacteria found in natural and man-made water systems and can be spread through airborne droplets, leading to infection when people inhale contaminated mist or vapour.
The purpose of a Legionella Risk Assessment is to identify any areas that are at risk of harbouring this bacterium, which can cause Legionnaires’ Disease, a severe form of pneumonia.
